Planning

The Town Council holds meetings every third Wednesday to consider planning applications within the town boundaries. Agendas of the meetings listing the applications being considered are available in the Town Hall at least three days prior to the meeting.

Copies of applications under consideration and decisions on applications are available for the public to view at the Town Hall.

The meetings are open to the public, who are welcome to make comments or raise questions relating to an application. Members of the public who wish to address the Council on a planning matter must be an elector registered within the parish of Corsham. Questions must be relevant to a specific item(s) on the agenda.   The Town Council makes recommendations on planning applications, which are forwarded to North Wiltshire District Council, which is the local planning authority.
