Transport is an important issue locally, regionally and nationally. With this in mind, the Town Council has a Transport Plan that looks at how Corsham is linked internally across the parish and externally to its nearest neighbours and beyond. The transport network in and around Corsham consists of the roads, railway, streets, footpaths and cycleways that enable people to move through the parish.
The aims of the Transport Plan (which you can download on the right) are to assist in the development of an integrated transport system that supports the economy and community in a safe and sustainable way. It is for the benefit of all road users, including pedestrians and cyclists.
The aims and objectives of the Plan are regularly monitored and you can see what progress has been made by downloading the Transport Monitoring Sheet on the right.
