Town Council (Planning) Meetings
What the Council (Planning) does
Council (Planning) meetings involve the whole Council and consider all planning applications pertaining to its area.
The Town Council can only make recommendations to Wiltshire Council, which is the planning authority. Meetings are held every three weeks.
Following the introduction of the Localism Act 2011, Town and Parish Councils are being given the opportunity to have a greater say in where they think new homes, employment land and infrastructure should be, and look like, through the production of a Neighbourhood Plan.
Corsham Town Council are working on a Neighbourhood Plan, details of which can be found here.
