Corsham : A True Market Town Again
Tuesday 8th September sees the return of Corsham’s weekly market, after a gap of almost 11 years. And as if that wasn’t enough, a monthly Farmers’ Market starts on Saturday 19th September as well!
Both markets will run from 9am-1pm in the High Street, near the Martingate Shopping Centre and short-stay car park.
The weekly market will have stalls selling everything from fruit and vegetables to cards and tools and the Farmers’ Market – which takes place on the third Saturday of the month (17th October, 21st November and 19th December are the dates up to Christmas) - will feature a great range of locally produced fresh food.
Corsham Town Council is delighted to welcome both markets to the town. The Council has worked with Wiltshire Council’s Markets Team to put together the Tuesday market, while Wiltshire Farmers’ Markets Association will be running the monthly market.
Corsham has always been a great place to visit, with its historic buildings, independent shops and wide range of places to eat and drink, now – with the launch of the markets – there are two more excellent reasons to head to the town.
