Join us at Digital Mansion and the High Street for our annual Eco Fair on Saturday 18 April, from 10am to 2pm, with free craft activities also taking place at the Pound Arts Centre.
Find out more about local organisations and charities who are working to help the planet and wildlife, and how you can get involved and take part.
The stalls include Corsham Climate Action, Fairtrade Corsham, Coppershell Animal Rescue, the Wiltshire Scrapstore, Park Lane Community Garden, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, Corsham Walking Festival and the Brunel Shed, as well as traders selling a range of eco-friendly products.
Corsham Climate Action will have volunteers from the Repair Café demonstrating what they do at their sessions, and the Wiltshire Scrapstore will have free craft kits available to take away, to make a mug insect hotel or birdfeeder.
Spindles Bikes are offering a free puncture repair service on the day, and 50% off on selected safety equipment including helmets and high-visibility vests!
We will be giving away free wildflower seeds, and also free towels and bedding, which have been donated by Regency Laundry.
At the Pound, you can take part in our free drop-in craft activities – make your own recycled bird feeder from a Tetrapak carton, or help us paint bird boxes which will be used in our parks and open spaces. Textile artist Jess Way will also be running a free, drop-in workshop (suitable for all ages and abilities) to create a beautiful nature-inspired collage using dried flowers, plants, tissue paper and recycled materials.
