Corsham Summer Fete

Corsham’s Summer Fete 2018

Corsham’s Summer Fete, organised by the Town Council, took place on Saturday 7 July ‘in support of our Armed Forces’.

The Fete ran from 12-4pm, at Springfield Rec in the centre of the town, highlights included the Little Zoo, circus skills, a Fun Dog Show organised by Guide Dogs for the Blind and music from local artists, including local band The Clones.

There were lots of community stalls, fairground rides, military stands, a kids’ Assault Course, plus a beer tent and barbecue, hog roast and lots, lots more.

There was also a lot happening at Springfield Campus, too, including the wonderful craft stalls at Corsham Creative Market, from 11am-3pm. And to start the Fete in style, the new parkour facility at Springfield was officially opened at 12.15pm, with experts on standby to show everyone what free running is all about.

Corsham's Summer Fete is usually held every other year and the date for the next one is yet to be confirmed.
