Taste of Corsham

Taste of Corsham will be back on 15 June 2019

Come and discover great food and drink from Corsham and Wiltshire.

A fantastic selection of Wiltshire’s finest producers signed up to attend the Taste of Corsham food and drink festival, on Saturday 16 June 2018. Organised by Corsham Town Council and sponsored by Queens Square Wealth Management, Taste of Corsham is a food and drink experience with something for everyone.

The High Street and Martingate Centre was home to stalls showcasing local and regional companies, with the chance to try, buy and enjoy everything from artisan gin to pies and pickles, plus everything inbetween. There were demonstrations, too, including one from Richard Buckley, of the Acorn Vegetarian Bookshop in Bath, at 2pm at Corsham Bookshop.

Visitors took on the Taste Trail - a selection of local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants offered food and drink tasters during the festival and entered their form to have the chance of winning a case of Champagne (courtesy of Octavian Wine Services).

Taste of Corsham teamed up with the Pound Arts Centre to bring music and entertainment on the Taste Stage, as part of the Blue Sky Festival (12-17 June). There was also street theatre, kite making and much more fun for all the family. And as if that wasn’t enough, 16 June also saw the 350th anniversary of Corsham’s historic Almshouses and there were free tours, afternoon tea, a mini museum and more in the grounds. And, from 11am, Bath Spa University opened its campus at Corsham Court to visitors, who enjoyed workshops, crafts, lectures and a peek at the original Albion press in the basement.
