FREE Holiday Activities - Corsham in Focus Junior and the Peacock Feather Trail

Corsham in Focus Junior is a fun photographic treasure hunt around Corsham town centre. Where were Andy Rose's 20 pictures taken? Look high, look low and you'll find them if you look hard enough. Find them all and you might win a great prize. Forms are available from the Town Hall, or you can download one here. And there's the Peacock Feather Trail, sponsored by Automattic Comics. Find the 10 feathers hiding in the windows of the town centre's shops, get a sticker (or tick the box if the shop's shut), write down where you found the feathers and drop your form back to the Town Hall. Again, forms are available here at the Town Hall or you can download a copy. Both activities run all through the month, until 31 August.

Street Fair

Coming soon, on 16 September, another great day to enjoy Corsham with our annual Street Fair, which will take place in the town centre from 12-4pm. Look out for more information, and if you're interested in performing or having a stall, contact Sharon Thomas, sthomas@corsham.gov.uk

Just 10 miles from Bath and on the fringe of the Cotswolds, you will find the historic market town of Corsham. A hidden gem waiting to be explored.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside with a historic High Street made up of mellow, Georgian stone buildings, it is home to a wide variety of independent retailers and our colourful and noisy residents; Peacocks!

There's more to Corsham than meets the eye. Corsham Court, set in Capability Brown designed gardens, sits at one end of the High Street with a 17th Century School room and Almshouses at the other.

Corsham's unique and vibrant arts centre, The Pound, is a bustling hub of music, theatre and art. Stay a while and enjoy the many restaurants, cafes and pubs and enjoy a street market every Tuesday, where local produce can be found.

An ideal base away from the city of Bath with good transport links to explore the surrounding area, including Lacock and Castle Combe. Savour the relaxed atmosphere and make Corsham your next place to visit.
