Bus Passes

If you are in receipt of your state pension, or have a qualifying disability, you may be eligible for a bus pass from Wiltshire Council. The bus pass entitles you to free off-peak travel from 9.30am-11pm Monday to Friday, all day at weekends and on bank holidays. To find out more, and to apply for a pass online, go to the Concessionary Bus Pass page on the Wiltshire Council website.

Paper copies of the bus pass application form are available at the Town Hall, but the scheme is run by Wiltshire Council so all paperwork needs to be sent to them.

Train Travel

Corsham’s nearest station is Chippenham, although there are also railway stations at Melksham and Bradford on Avon. The X31 bus service stops at Chippenham Station to connect with the GWR train service between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads, which also stops at Bath, Swindon and Reading. More details on the GWR service can be found at gwr.com .

Corsham Railway Station Town Team are working together to bring a new railway station to Corsham. You can find out more on the Corsham Railway Station website.
