The Task Group comprises of representatives from Corsham Town Council, Transcoco, Corsham Youth Council, and individuals and retailers from the local community with specific skills and knowledge. Bath Spa University, Corsham Chamber of Commerce, Corsham Churches Group, the local Schools Cluster, The Corsham School and MOD Corsham are all represented. Anybody can apply to join the Task Group – please request this through the Town Hall (towncouncil@corsham.gov.uk or 01249 702130) or speak to a Task Group member. The Group reports back periodically to the Town Council on progress, issues arising and outcomes.

Action Plan

The Task Group has identified around forty potential carbon reduction projects. Some of these are will be carried out by the Town Council, for example, changing all of our electricity supplies to 100% renewable sources from April 2020. Other projects will be carried out in partnership, and some will be addressed by third party organisations and individuals.
